Description:
The QRM canceller is inserted into the feeder of the antenna from the trx without any other modifications to the radio. The box has a built-in PTT control to keep the canceller connected during transmission. However, an additional auxiliary receiving antenna is required, such as a 2m antenna or only a few meters of wires in a shed. The two antennas receive unwanted signals, resulting in different phases. The QRM canceller now allows adjustment of the phase angle and amplification to cancel unwanted signals before they reach the receiver front end! It is based on a completely innovative concept and cannot be compared with the normal "silencer" performance.
The whole point here is to use an antenna on the AUX that is resonant to your noise, you need a perfectly bad antenna for AUX, so that you catch everything except a useful signal and under the main ant. Perhaps under the metal roof but next to the main one. Please note you need to supply PTT from radio to switch RX / TX (pull PTT down to ground)
Prinsable of operation for noise cancelation
Note: There is a 0.5-1mm deviation between the dial and the knob pointer
Important part is the "noise" antenna. It must be as close to the direction of the noise. If it's adjusted corrected it doesn't reduce the RX Signals.
