Introduction
GoIP is the abreviated from GSM over IP. It is a new type of VoIP gateway that alows cal terminations from a VoIP network to a GSM network and vice versa. Cal conections betwen IP networks and GSM networks are now bridged seamlesly to extend the voiceomunication coverage signficantly. As the traditonal PSTN lines are starting to disapear in devloped countries and are not going to be built extnsively in under-devloped countries, GSM phones are groing more and more popularity over the world with lower and lower servic charges, the mergnce of GoIP bridges the gap betwen the traditonal telphone networks and VoIP networks a shown in the diagrm below.
